Growing . . .

Kylan loves to hold McKartny, when she's not screaming.

Fighting sleep!

I set McKarnty in the crib so I could get some things done and thought she'd be safe from Kylan but I cam back in and Kylan had climbed in the crib right along with her!

I was surprised that Kylan actually shared her precious pink blankie with McKartny! No sibling rivalry YET!

New Addition #1

We have 2 new additions to our family, plus another on the way Tuesday morning at 5 am!Our new house. So far it's been a pain in the butt, but hopefully we can get all the little kinks figured out and it will feel more like home!
The main reason we moved: the backyard so Kylan can run free and get some of that energy out! And Kurt has been in heaven being able to shoot his bow whenever he pleases.

Dining Room, we have some chair railing that Kurt has been wanting to put up just hasn't had an ounce of spare time to do it!
Living Room
Kitchen
The bedrooms are still a work in progress, when I get time I have a few more little projects to finish them off, but I have to say Kylan LOVES her pink bedroom. And the basement is not worth talking about, I only go down to do laundry and it's good storage space, we'll leave it at that!

Soon to be Big Sister!

Kylan eating one of her favorites: chocolate doughnuts!

Her new favorite toy; she walks around jammin' out saying she's playing Rockband! She loved playing at Kristy's house and when we're in the car and she hears a song that she heard on Rockband she tells me to turn it up and sing!

Vacation

So I've been a big slacker. We got back from Idaho last Monday and I've been procrastinating a little bit on an update. We had a GREAT time in Idaho with family and had a very hard time coming back to Ohio but here we are, back in the real world! Our vacation went by way too fast. We spent the 1st week & a half in Rigby with Kurt's fam & another week & a half in Burley with my fam. I am not good at remembering my camera so I don't have a whole lot of pics but I'm working on getting more from those who actually remember to charge their batteries and take their cameras with them! :)
Kylan being the true wild woman that she is!
We spent alot of time on the boat with both families. With Kurt's fam we went to Bear Lake for a couple of days; the water & weather were both beautiful. And in Burley Sarah & T.J. were able to bring their boat so we spent a good amount of time out on the Snake River. Kylan loved her pink jacket and enjoyed watching Kurt wakeboard.

All of my family was able to be in Burley for about 4-5 days together which was crazy with all the kids running around but Kylan loved it and already misses everyone. This is all of us grandkids & great grandkids with my Grandma & Grandpa Sagers.

I was surprised that she actually got on the tube with Kurt and actually enjoyed it; she's usually a chicken when it comes to things like that! We're making progress!

Kylan really latched on to her cousin Kensey, I think they look like sisters in this pic!

And again, more attitude, what's new?

All the guys out shooting clays across the river at Kristy's house.

Kylan absolutely fell in love with her cousin Dagan. She would constantly give him hugs & kisses and cuddle up to him. She still asks to go to Dagan's house almost everyday!

One of her many mood swings, Kurt says "she's exactly like her Mom," I say she's just a girl!

Coming in from swimming at Grandma Sherre's, the water was freezing but it was worth it to her!

Kylan and Bertie, Mom's dog. At first she was a little worried because Bertie like to chase her around and nip at her heels but she grew to love her and always wanted to be outside to play with her.

Here are a few other things we've been up to: I celebrated my 24th b-day, Kurt & I made it to our 4th anniversary, we made arrangements to move into a house on the 22nd of this month (which has entailed alot of cleaning & painting so far) saw Batman (loved it!), set-up an induction date for the 9th of September, Kurt's back in school, arranged to get another car (finally), and, well, that's all I can think of for now!

Idaho here we come!

Tomorrow we head home to Idaho for 3 weeks so this will be it for about a month! The other night we went out to dinner for one of our friends' birthday to a Japanese restaurant called Shinto. I never thought I would try or like sushi but boy was I wrong, it was delicious. Even Kurt tried it and really liked it! (Don't worry, it was cooked, for those thinking I shouldn't be eating sushi while pregnant)

Whenever Kylan plays her toy piano she has to be wearing this hat! And yes she needs her diaper changed, it's hanging out her shorts! Sorry

4th of July

We had a very fun filled, busy 4th of July this year! In the morning we went to the parade which wasn't all that a parade usually is, just a bunch of people running for office trying to get you to vote for them. Only 2 marching bands (no cheerleaders) and maybe 4 horses. Kind of pathetic but Kylan enjoyed herself and stocked up on the candy. I couldn't believe how much candy they gave out! So that made it all worth if for her (and I snuck in a few pieces while Kurt wasn't looking). Then we went home and took a short nap then headed over to a bbq with some friends and just hung out and talked and enjoyed the beautiful day that it was. Shortly after we headed to some fireworks up by the lake. Kurt and I both decided that it was not worth the drive or being surrounded by all the dumb people that were smoking 2 feet from us. Plus, once you've seen Idaho Falls' fireworks nothing really compares. We didn't get home until midnight and Kylan was exhausted and zonked out in the car. All in all we had a great day!

Kurt happened to catch Kylan running away from Lyza as she tried to stick a sparkler on her arm!

Kylan hid under the blanket for the majority of the fireworks; she's kind of a wuss and got scared!

I love this picture of the 2 of them. She definitely has her Dad's eyes, and wild personality for that matter!
