We decided to put up the Christmas tree Friday and had a heck of a time doing so. We got out all the Christmas stuff and started wrapping the tree in lights when Kurt said, "Ya know we probably should have plugged these in to make sure they work," so we unwrapped the strand we had just put on and plugged them in and what do ya know they didn't work so we proceeded to check the rest of the lights and on 2 of the strands only half them worked so we did a little handywork here and there and got one strand to work and put them on the tree then plugged them in and they went back to not working. After a couple hours of trying to get lights to work Kurt finally gave in and went and bought all new lights. In the end it really came together and I really like our tree this year! I'm working on collecting and making more ornaments to fill it up a bit more, but it's better than the 1st year we got married when all we had on our trees was rafia bows.

Lookin' like Christmas
Thanksgiving
Kylan finally mastered coming down the stairs. It took her a few times sliding down head first before she figured out to just turn around.

Halloween
Halloween night a fellow podiatry student and his wife had a party at their house which was alot of fun. They live in a really nice neighborhood and everyone just sat out on their sidewalks with their candy so you didn't even have to walk up to the door for the most part. The weather was perfect, just needed a jacket. Kylan spent the majority of the time chasing around their 2 little dogs and didn't seem to care much about the candy. I had a hard time getting a good shot of her in her monkey costume, she just wouldn't hold still so this is as good as it gets.

Our little munchkin
Fall
Ward Party
Pumpkin Patch
Saturday we went to a pumpkin patch about 20 minutes away. It was alot of fun! They had a corn maze, hayrides, pumpkin patch, apple orchards, and a store with anything you could imagine made out of apples.
The hayrides were pulled by Belgian horses. They were really big! I think this guy was tired, he kept resting his head on the driver behind us.

Ordinary day

Lately she has discovered how to open cupboards and her favorite one is with all the pots and pans and bowls. On this particular day she found herself a new chair then right after this picture she tipped over backwards and hit her head and hasn't tried it since!

More of Kylan

Our Week!
Friday we went to a Kiddie Park which is basically an amusement park for kids under 50''. Kylan really loved the 1st ride then we went on a roller coaster which wasn't the smartest idea.
She was fine before we got going. . .
Even as we were going up the hill she was still ok. . .
Then it was all downhill from there as you can see . . .
She couldn't wait to get out!
We tried to put her in these little cars but she wasn't about to be left alone again.
Towards the end she realized it was fun, but by that time we had run out ot tickets.
She wouln't even sit on a carousel horse by herself!
Her new thing is trains so she was really excited to ride this one that just took you around the park.
Last week we bought her some new shoes because her feet are growing extremely fast and now she won't take them off and has to wear them around the house all day! They're "cute" she says.
She thought Kurt's hunting vest was a dress and had to show it off. As you can see she's learned to cheese-it for the camera!
