Great weekend

We had a really fun filled weekend together as a family. We spent as much time outside as possible enjoying the absolutely gorgeous weather and beautiful fall colors. We went back to the same pumpkin patch as last year, Mapleside farms, and ate yummy food, picked out pumpkins, Kylan got face/arm paint and rode the ponies. We opted out on the hayride this year, McKartny had had enough.

Kurt couldn't resist buying the biggest bag of kettle corn he could, it is absolutely amazing and you can't stop eating it!

She wanted a butterfly on her arm, not her face, she's like her Dad, hates people touching her face.

A little different than the horse ride at Mom's, much smaller and much less skiddish!

Mom told me about an ad she saw for something called Old Fashioned Christmas in the Woods in Columbiana so we decided to check it out. It was only about an 1 and 15 minutes away and as we pulled up over the hill this is what we saw, but imagine all the green spaces you see filled in with cars, we got the picture as everyone was leaving. We guessed there had to be about 1000 cars. We thought, "well I guess it must be good!" It was way cool, about 200 vendors set up little booths in the middle of the woods (grove of trees in the picture above) with tons of crafts, woodwork, blacksmiths, food, music, it was quite the set-up, BUT there were sooooooo many people and it was not exactly stroller friendly. So Kurt and I decided we are definitely going back next year WITHOUT the kids! I can't wait to be able to explore more and get some ideas for new crafts.
