Christmas

Yes we are still alive, it has been quite awhile since my last post. So we had a very relaxing, quiet, fun-filled Christmas here in Cleveland this year. It's so nice to have Kurt home for a much needed break and the girls think they're in heaven spending so much time with Dad!
Aunt Kristy & Grandma & Grandpa Kinghorn sent these cute fairy wings and skirt for the girls which neither of them took off for the whole day! Kylan was so excited especially because they're pink!

So ever since we came home from Idaho in July Kylan has been asking for a "pink & purle Jeep just like Presley's" (her cousin) so luckily Santa found a good deal on Craigslist for one and it was definitely the highlight of everyone's morning! We were sooooo excited to give it to her and the wait payed off. McKartny actually wouldn't get out of it for about an hour, not even to open present, I opened most of them for her and then gave them to her and she sat in the Jeep and played with them!

Worn-out McKartny amidst the mess!

Can't wait for it to warm-up so they can go bananas outside in it! We thought they'd be able to drive it in the basement but unfortunately Kylan isn't that good of a driver yet and runs into too many things!

Kylan was funny with Santa this year, she was very anxious to tell him what she wanted BUT she wouldn't sit on his lap and we basically had to force her to get close enough to him to take a picture! McKartny wanted absolutely nothing to do with him.
So all in all we had great holidays! We spent Christmas Eve with friends and even discovered some new traditions from them we might start on out own (thanks Haynes!) and we had a New Years Eve party at our house that was a blast; lots of yummy food, & fun games! We even stayed up until midnight, except for McKartny, but Kylan was definitely a bear the next day!

Lucky! I always wanted a car like that! Those girls will have a blast in it!! Gladthey enjoyed time with dad. Wish we could have met in Idaho though:) When is Kurt done? He should look into Bimarck for a job. A pediatrist just moved here and his wife told me they offer twice as much as every where else and he is busy, so hey could use another one.

Ava is on my lap right now (not making this easy) but she said, "CUUTE PRINCESSES!!!!!!!" when she saw your girls in their fairy outfits. Ava's envious!

Great Christmas, that Jeep just make you and Kurt the winners of "World's awesomest parents"!!!!

Kurt, your girls are cute. Yeah, we're liking it here. If we're ever up in Cleveland, we'll have to get together sometime. How much longer do you have?
