Idaho Part Three

Finally we went and spent a couple of weeks with my fam in Burley. With Liza's wedding things went by pretty quick but we managed to do alot of fun things! Kylan misses everyone so much already, hopefully we get to see them sooner than later. The night of the 4th we went to a friend of my parents house who lives right on the river to watch the fireworks. This year Kylan LOVED them as opposed to last year when she hid under the blanket the whole time. Dad had to take McKartny inside because she wouldn't stop screaming, better luck next year I guess!

My brother J.W. is a pyro so he took Kylan out to play with some sparklers and set off some fireworks from Wyoming (those of you from Idaho will understand)

For the 4th of July we went and saw another water attraction, Shoshone Falls. Again there was sooooo much water flowing over. Me and the girls are the last ones on the left in this picture, as we stood their we were getting sprayed by the mist.

My sister Sarah with her daughter Kate, or as Kylan calls her Baby Cake

My sis Emma with Kylan, who was ornery and wouldn't cooperate, Mom with McKartny and my brother J.W.
As I said Kylan was being a terd and wouldn't cooperate for any pics

My sister Liza got married on July 3rd in the Twin Falls Temple. I didn't take many pics because the photographer took ALOT so when Liza gets them back I'll post more. She had her reception at my Mom & Dad's house in their backyard, it turned out beautiful I think, but if you'll notice the dark skies in the background, we were worried about rain the whole night but instead the wind just blew like crazy. Typical Idaho!

The infamous booger!!!

McKartny doing "Sooooo big!"

Cousins Ben & Ty playing with Kylan in the pool. Grandpa didn't want it to ruin the lawn so we had to put it on the gravel, sad 'eh?

We went over to a place called Cauldron Lynn, it's where the Snake River goes down into a narrow canyon so all this water is pushed into one tiny spot, it was amazing, though a little scary, a girl that my Dad taught drowned here several years ago.

There's soooo much water in Idaho they are letting it out of the damns because they're full so this was especially cool to see

My brother J.W. with McKartny, Dad, Kylan, & Mom

We were able to see my Grandma Carol alot, she's such a fun sweet lady with a funny sense of humor. So here's the 4 generations with Grandma Carol, my mom, me, and my girls!

Idaho Part Two

We then we and spent a couple of days with my sister Jesse in Idaho Falls.
From left, Kylan, Presley, McKartny, Kensey, I think Briley was sleeping when we did the pic, danget!

Here's Briley, she's such a chunk I love it! She's only 14 months old!

Brian (Jesse's husband) let us go over to the barn and ride, Kylan didn't want to get off, Mckartny didn't really care

Kylan would've spent every waking minute in this Jeep if I had let her, McKartny had to hold on for dear life, Kylan was kind of a crazy driver!

I don't know what they were looking it but it must've been something interesting!

These 2 goof balls are only 4 months apart, too bad we're not closer, they would be best friends for sure!

Can't miss out on putting one of Krazy Kartny!

Idaho Part One

We just got back last week from our 3 week vacation in Idaho, without Kurt :( We had alot of fun but don't want to be away from Kurt that long again! The girls & I spent a week with Kurt's family in Rigby; from left, Kurt's sister Kristy holding her daughter Presley, Kurt's Mom Gerrie, Kylan, Kurt's sis Brenda with McKartny in front!
Kylan followed Presley around like a puppy dog!
Thanks for letting us crash Kristy! We had fun seeing all of you!

Flag Football

Kurt was able to play with a team this year for the schools flag football tournament! Since Emma was here I only watched the first game but he said I didn't miss much because they killed everybody by a long shot and won the whole thing! (Kurt's standing in the middle of the field, the one looking bored :)

Cedar Point

My sister Emma and her friend Kristy flew out to spend a few days with us. We went to Cedar Point and had a blast! We can't wait to go back
This ride is called the Top Thrill Dragster. I was too chicken to go on it and as you can see Emma was freaking out, but Kristy talked her into it! It shoots you off at 120 mph in less than 4 seconds than you go straight up 420 feet, while twisting, and then comes straight down! She said it was awesome, I'll start working up my courage now for when we go back!

Thank goodness they had kids rides! Kylan loved everyone and wanted to go again and again again

What a thrill ride, for her! Notice she STILL has the black eye

Bumps & Bruises

We've had a few mishaps so far this summer, Kylan was getting a little rough and wild with McKartny in the stroller and she tipped her over, she has the road rash to prove it!
We were at a friends birthday party and Kylan & Jeter were running around like they usually do and ran head on right into eachother, he also had a nice goose-egg to show for it!

It got quite a bit darker in the days to come, this was actually the best it looked!

What we've been up to!

WARNING: the following is alot of randomness & pictures so beware! Well it's pretty pathetic that I didn't have one post on the month of May so I guess I have some catching up to do!

My Grandpa Moe passed away and thanks to my cousin I was able to fly home to Idaho for about a week and 1/2 to attend the funeral. The trip home was sorry to say hell, I was on standby with both the kids and wow it was an adventure but we made it in one piece and will be back again in about 2 weeks! I have alot of memories of Grandpa especially sleeping over and going to McDonalds for breakfast, his loads and loads of ice cream (& sugar) for that matter, overflowing milk glasses because you didn't say "when," and so much more, he was always teasing us in one way or another. I think about him alot and miss him!

So I was awful at taking pictures this trip home but I will do better this next time around.

Kylan & my sis Emma

McKartny is 9 months old, I'm guessing about 24 lbs, we take her to the doc Wednesday so we'll see if I'm right, she's finally figured out how to really crawl instead of just drag her self on the ground and has 7 teeth. She really is just a happy baby, smiles at everyone & everything and squeals when she gets to play with her big sis.

Oh man, this girl would live off of "yellow noodles" (mac & cheese) if I would let her, every meal she wants yellow noodles. She is such a character and at times it's scary she acts so much like her Dad! Ms. Personality that's for sure!

Memorial day we went and had a picnic at a park with some friends, Kylan wanted Jeter to push her so bad in the stroller but he didn't want much to do with it! Afterwards Kurt took Kylan swimming while I let McKartny come home and snooze.

Bath time fun, McKartny LOVES the bath, that is actually and understatement, she squeals and screams and laughs hysterically at Kylan doing the most random things, I love these girls, they are already the best of friends!

In the meantime we moved AGAIN into another house that is much closer to the school & church and we absolutely positively LOVE LOVE LOVE it! We can't believe we wasted so much time in our other house and wish we had been here since day one, but pics of the house will have to be another post for another day!
