Easter

McKartny & Kylan decided to dump a whole bottle of shampoo in the water & see what happens, lots & lots & lots of bubbles!!

A little past due but we had a great Easter, the weather actually was decent, the girls loved coloring eggs & having easter egg hunts.

Kylan turns 5!

Kylan turned 5 on April 4, I truly can't believe I have a 5 yr old, now I feel old! At 5 Kylan is still making us laugh with her crazy faces & wearing us out with all her crazy energy! She loves horses & we hear on a daily basis how she wishes she could ride on a real horse, she has mastered horse sounds, almost too well, and rides her stick horse around the house "neighing." She does really well in preschool & is already counting down the days until she can go to kindergarten so she can learn how to read. We had a great party for her with friends that she will miss so much when we move to Lima. Happy Birthday Kylan!

Modge Podge

What have we been up to since Christmas? Waiting/wanting desperately for Spring to come with trips to Lima (Kurt will start his residency in July!), lots of dress-up & playtime, new jammies, haircuts, & lots of mood swings!

I decided to finally try my hand at trimming the girls hair, I figured it couldn't be that bad right? Well it wasn't, I was more nervous than the girls but everything turned out great!

We found some Batman jammies on sale at Old Navy and the girls HAD to have them!

We've made a couple trips to Lima Ohio to scope out houses and what not. We've been lucky enough to have some really sweet residents there & 1 offered to let us stay with her. The girls LOVE staying at their house because they have a chocolate lab named Carmen. The girls spent most of the time chasing her around & playing games with her, & I spent my time trying to convince Kurt to get us a puppy!

McKartny snuck some crackers out of the pantry and this is where I found her chowin' down!

Bad Hair Day!

Rockin' the 80's style!

Christmas

We had a very fun-filled Christmas this year again in Cleveland, but this year we will be celebrating in a new house in Lima Ohio! Excited to move onto the next phase!
Christmas morning: McKartny decided the most comfy place for a snooze was on her new kitchen
Kylan with her new barn & Breyer horses, now she wants saddles & riders to go with them!

Kurt with his new belt & buckle! "I shoulda been a cowboy" fits him perfectly!

Showin' off new jammies on Christmas Eve

Kylan's preschool had a cute little party & the kids put on a little program & sang songs, it was really cute. McKartny was deathly afraid to sit on Santa's lap so this was as close as we got!

Texas Thanksgiving

I'm 0nly 2 months late on this post! As mentioned before we drove to Texas over Thanksgiving weekend for my sisters wedding & had a couple of days to play! It was our 1st Thanksgiving with family in 3 years so it was heaven to say the least!
Kylan & Presley at my brother-in-law Brian's cuttin'

Watching the Longhorns being driven down Old Downtown Fort Worth

Enjoying the carousel at the Old Stockyards in Fort Worth

Kurt & I enjoyed some time WITHOUT the kids & went with some of my family to Dealey Plaza in Dallas, it's where John F. Kennedy was shot. You can see the window in the pic below where Lee Harvey Oswald shot from, 2nd from top.

There were "x's" on the street where he was when each shot hit him

Kurt & I on the "Grassy Knoll"

Very fascinating!
We had alot of fun even though it was a short trip & look forward to going back in May!!
