AC/DC Concert

So Monday & Tuesday of this week I think were some of the funnest days since we've been in Cleveland. Monday Kurt's brother Bill & his son Ty flew out from Boise and that night we all went to see AC/DC in concert! Now, this was the 1st concert I have been to and holy crap was it awesome! The demographics were so weird, ranging from 10 year old boys to grandparents! It was definitely a night to remember to say the least!
Angus Young is absolutely amazing and in the pic above he's "stripping", it was really funny, he just took off his jacket and shirt, but he's so old and wrinkly it was hilarious!

We took too many pictures to count so here are just a few!

Angus Young on the big screen

I didn't take a pic of it but their last song was "For those about to rock (we salute you)" and they had real cannons go off from the stage, just one of the many cool things!

Thunderstruck

Our camera has video capabilities but it happened to be on the smallest setting and Kurt didn't realize to switch it over so this it what we ended up with, plus it takes up ALOT of memory ENJOY!

Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

Lake Erie in the background.
We spent all day Tuesday at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame; we didn't realize how big it was and how much stuff they had so it took awhile to see everything. They didn't allow photography in the exhibits but my favorite was all the clothes, especially Michael Jackson's, they were pretty cool and there were so many different personal things from all the inductees: cars, report cards, yearbooks, the funniest was a hotel that the Beatles had stayed at cut up the sheets that they slept on into 1 inch squares and sold them to people, it didn't say how much but I bet they made a few bucks!!

Kurt, Bill & Ty

This was right in the front doors, I thought it looked kind of cool!

Christmas morning

We got almost all of our Christmas on video so we didn't take many still pictures so this is about it. Kylan was more excited to see if Santa had eaten the cookies that we left out for him than she was about her presents, at first. Then she got to playing with her toys from Santa and didn't want to open any more presents! I think she got spoiled. Kartny really didn't care much but she does like her Bumbo!
Later that day we had a few other students & their fams over for Xmas dinner with turkey & ham and all the fixins'. It was really nice and we enjoyed the company! It was hard to not have any family nearby for the holidays BUT we hope to make it home next summer!

Cavs Game

The other night we were offered some tickets to go to a Cavs game, unforunately it was after the game had started so by the time we dropped Kylan off at the babysitters and walked to the arena it was the end of the 3rd quarter and then we sat down and McKartny freaked out from the noise so I spent the rest of the game standing up with her in the hall. Needless to say it was not worth it so Kurt & I are looking for tickets to go back BY OURSELVES and enjoy a game!

The Christmas Story House

The house that part of the movie The Christmas Story was filmed at is here in Cleveland and since it's one of Kurt's favorite movies we went and took a little tour of it. It was actually really cool! They had the house set up almost exactly like it was in the movie with lots of little memorabilia everywhere. There was also a museum across the street with lots of different things from the movie. I was surprised, they do tours every 1/2 hour and there was about 30 people in our group alone! They must get alot of business this time of year!

The famous leg lamp

Kurt wants one to put in our front window, YEAH RIGHT!

Break Time!

Kurt is FINALLY done with Finals! Yeaaahhh . . . 2 awful weeks are over and now Christmas Break can begin!Kylan has been big into choosing what she wears everyday, I don't get a say, so today was her "dancing" dress and Kurt's camo hat!
McKartny is growing like crazy! She is such a happy baby now and smiles and laughs at nearly everything. She's now just over 3 months old. The camera made her eyes look evil in the above pic, she actually has eyes just like Kylan which are just like Kurts!

We decided to start the holiday tradition of making a gingerbread house. I must say it was pretty easy with the already premade pieces and frosting & candy included. Kylan ate almost all the candy off of it the next day!

She was SOOOOO excited to see Santa, she could barely contain herself and ran up to him as fast as she could and told him she wanted a princess dress & crown and then he proceeded to ask her if she wanted a barbie, which she never really wanted, and now she says Santa wants to bring her a barbie, we'll see!

We've had quite the adventure trying to figure Kylan's immune system out! We (and the doctor) and are thinking asthma so we've got her on breathing treatments when she gets bad. Our child is weird, she absolutely loves medicine and if she has the slightest little cough she asks for medicine right away, not good!

Happy Birthday Kurt!

Happy 27th Birthday to Kurt! Best birthday ever with the new car:
2009 BMW 328i xDrive with red leather interior
SWEET!

We have 2 sick kids so we decided to bring Red Lobster to us this year for his birthday dinner. We had lobster, sauteed shrimp, garlic mashed potatoes, and Red Lobster cheddar Bay Biscuits, and for dessert Better than "Anything" cake!

Boiling the lobster, and no they didn't scream! Kylan was so funny, she kept wanting to pet the lobsters . . .I felt kinda bad because when we were eating them she kept asking where they were.

Alot of work to get all the meat out but mmmm...mmmm good!

Unfortunately Kurt had to spend his bday still on crutches from his surgery! (He had a bunch of bone fragments removed from his ankle from an old injury in high school). One more week on crutches, I can't wait, if feels like I am a single Mom with 3 kids, he's so helpless!

P.S. Like we could afford a car like that! (Someday). It's a loaner from the dealership while ours is in the shop

Family Pictures

A friend was able to take some family pictures of us the other day before it got too cold out! I love the colors of the leaves in the background, didn't they turn out good?

McKartny's blessing day

We were able to bless McKartny yesterday. She didn't cry at all during church, instead she decided to have a huge blow-out all over her right before Kurt took her up to bless her! It was a mess to say the least and I spent all day yesterday soaking and scrubbing the dress and I think I finally got it all out! Kurt did a great job and I am really proud of him for being such a good Dad.

Since our family wasn't able to come out Kurt had Marcus Yetter (left), Hadley McArthur (right) and Jesse Riley (not pictured) stand in the circle with him. We are truly grateful for good friends that we could ask do this for us.

Our happy family! I am so blessed to have 2 beautiful healthy girls and an awesome husband!

My pride and joy!

Althought she wasn't happy at the beginning of the day she turned things around and decided to finally smile for the camera, I just can't help but smile when I see this pic!
